Pork with Sauerkraut

3/4 pounds of pork
1/2 pound of sauerkraut
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Paprika
Caraway Seeds
1 clove garlic
1 small onion
1 teaspoon of fat

Crush the garlic under the blade of a knife with a little salt. Cut the onion into rings. Fry the onion rings in melted fat until light golden brown, add salt, pepper, and paprika and stir. Toss in the sauerkraut, the meat, cut into convenient pieces and a little water. Add the garlic and the caraway seeds. Simmer very gently until the meat is cooked, adjust the seasoning and serve with potatoes or dumplings.
