| Old Fashioned Cheese Cake
2 pounds of cream cheese
1 pound of sour cream
1 stick butter
2 tablespoons of cornstarch
1 1/4 cup of sugar
1 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
5 eggs |

Cream first 3 ingredients. Add next 4 ingredients. Beat in eggs one at a time. Pour into 9 x 12 inch spring form pan. Place pan into larger pan of water (at least 1 inch). Cook 1 hour at 375ºF. Turn off oven, open door and leave cake in for 1 hour. Cool in pan. Serve with cherries or fruit of your choice. |
