Mexicali Casserole

One 1 pound 4 ounce can of yellow hominy, drained
One 1 pound can of tamales, cut in thirds
One 4 - 5 ounce can of Vienna sausages, cut in thirds
One 10 1/2 ounce can of condensed cream of chicken soup
1 ounce of sharp natural Cheddar cheese, shredded, about 1/4 cup

Combine the hominy, tamales, sausages, and soup, mix well. Turn into a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. bake uncovered at 350ºF. for 35 to 40 minutes. If desired, garnish top with additional tamales. Sprinkle cheese on top. return to oven, to melt cheese and heat tamale garnish. Serves 6
