Broccoli with sauteed Garlic
*Make cleanup easy by using the same pan for heating the oil and garlic that was used for steaming the broccoli!

1 bunch of broccoli ( about 1 pound), trimmed and cut into narrow stalks for easy serving
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 garlic cloves, cut lengthwise into thin slices
4 lemon wedges

Place a vegetable steaming rack in a large wide saucepan or Dutch oven. Add 1 inch of water and bring to a boil. Arrange the broccoli in an even layer on the rack. Cover and steam until tender, about 8 to 10 minutes. Lift the steamer from the saucepan, discard the water and wipe the pan dry. Add the olive oil and garlic to the saucepan. Cook, stirring, over medium-low heat until the garlic sizzles gently and softens, 2 to 3 minutes. Arrange the broccoli in a serving dish. Drizzle the oil and garlic over the broccoli. Garnish with the lemon wedges and serve. Makes 4 servings
