Nana's Stove
Are you ready for some good homecookin"?

 

Meatball Pie

1/2 cup of chopped onion
1 tablespoon of butter or margarine
two 12 ounce cans of meatballs and gravy
One 1 pound can of sliced carrots, drained
2 tablespoons of snipped parsley
2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup of crisp rice cereal, crushed
1/2 teaspoon of sesame seed
1/8 teaspoon of salt
1 package of refrigerated biscuits (10 biscuits) milk  

Cook the onion in butter until tender, but not brown. Add the meatballs and gravy, carrots, parsley, and Worcestershire. Heat until it begins to bubble. Pour into a 2 quart casserole dish. Mix the cereal, sesame seed and salt. Brush the tops of the biscuits with milk, then dip into the cereal mixture. arrange the biscuits on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 425ºF. for 10 to 12 minutes or until the biscuits are done. Makes 6 servings
