Corn Bread Pie


Corn Bread Pie

1 1/4 pound of ground meat
1 onion, chopped
Bell pepper & jalapeno (to suit taste)
1 tablespoon of chili powder
1 can tomato soup
1 soup can of water
1 can whole corn, drained
1 package of corn bread mix

Instructions:

Brown meat lightly in skillet with onions and peppers. Add all other ingredients except corn bread mix. Simmer about 20 minutes. Pour into casserole bowl. Mix corn bread mix and spoon over meat mixture. Bake, uncovered at 425ºF. about 20 minutes or until bread is golden brown. This is good with pinto beans.
