Old Fashioned Egg Custard

Old Fashioned Egg Custard

1 cup of skim milk
1/4 cup of sugar
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
10 egg whiles
1/4 cup of mashed potatoes
1/4 cup of mashed banana
2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon of grated nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves
One 9 inch Reduced Fat Pie Shell or your favorite

 

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375ºF. Heat the skim milk and sugar in a medium saucepan until warm, stirring constantly. Set aside. Using an electric mixer, mix the vanilla extract, egg whites, banana, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves for about 3 minutes or until fluffy. Add the lukewarm sugar - milk to the beaten egg whites. Pour into the pie shell and bake for about 1 hour or until the custard is firm. Serves 8 calories 170, sodium 250 mg, protein 8 g, calories from fat 18 cholesterol 1 mg, fat 2 g carbohydrate 29g
