Baked Cajun Cornish Hens


Baked Cajun Cornish Hens

1 teaspoon of seasoned salt
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of onion powder
1 teaspoon of dried thyme, crushed
1 teaspoon of dried oregano, crushed
1/2 teaspoon of paprika
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
4 Cornish Hens ( 1 to 1 1/2 pounds)
2 tablespoons of olive oil

Instructions:

Blend the first 8 ingredients in a small bowl. Wash and dry the Cornish hens. Brush the hens with olive oil. Season the hens with the seasoning mixture. Place the hens in a baking pan. Let it stand for about 5 minutes. Heat your oven to 400ºF.  Bake until the hens are done, about 45 to 60 minutes. Serve with Lemon Pecan Green Beans.
